2026 Reimbursement Collaborative: Maximizing Opportunity in a Changing Environment - The New Reimbursement Reality

Ohio's reimbursement landscape continues to evolve as reimbursement methodologies, quality programs, staffing expectations, and regulatory requirements change. Organizations that succeed understand that strong financial performance is driven by effective leadership, engaged teams, and systems that support continuous improvement. In accordance with ORC 3721.072(B) and OAC 173-60, this collaborative incorporates quality improvement strategies that support workforce development, staff engagement, workplace culture, and organizational performance.

This collaborative will help nursing home leaders understand the interconnected relationships between reimbursement, workforce performance, quality outcomes, clinical operations, and regulatory success. Through practical tools, facility-specific data, peer learning, and proven operational strategies, participants will learn how to identify opportunities, assess risk, strengthen organizational systems, and position their facilities for long-term success in an increasingly competitive environment.

As quality benchmarks rise and reimbursement opportunities become increasingly competitive, providers must understand where they stand and what risks may affect future performance. Participants will evaluate reimbursement trends, benchmark against peers, and assess opportunities to strengthen financial outcomes. Participants will assess organizational strengths and risks, including workforce-related factors that influence quality performance, reimbursement outcomes, and long-term organizational success.

Continuing Education

1.0 clock hours will be awarded upon successful completion.

1.2 CPE hours will be awarded upon successful completion.

Criteria for successful completion: Attendance at entire event and submission of completed evaluation form.
