Embark on the next phase of our collaborative webinar series, where we delve into the next set of quality measures impacting Ohio’s Medicaid Quality Incentive Payment (QIP). Join us as we navigate the intricacies of Medicaid reimbursement, now enhanced for FY24 and FY25 with additional quality measures, staffing, and occupancy points, resetting semi-annually. This series equips nursing home providers with essential knowledge and tools to obtain Medicaid reimbursement and elevate quality outcomes.

Throughout this series, nursing home providers will acquire insights into achieving results through collaborative synergy. Previous participants have affirmed the series' efficacy in keeping their teams focused on the QIP and Quality Measures. Each month, sessions will include financial projections, providing resources and insights to streamline processes and impact quality measures directly. Attendees can expect valuable tips, tactics, and resources to aid implementation throughout the series.

July 18, 2024     Behavior Management in Antipsychotic Reduction

This session will delve into the strategies and techniques used to address and respond to challenging behaviors exhibited by residents. Participants will explore how a person-centered approach that focuses on expressions as opposed to behaviors can lead to the root cause. Identifying the root cause of an expression will lead to effective non-pharmacological interventions. Discussion will include assessment considerations and the importance of thorough medical record documentation to support care decisions.
