Recorded 10/21/2024  |  60 minutes LeadingAge Ohio staff looked at comments submitted on behalf of members to the Ohio Department of Health on the proposed nursing home rules released last week. The rules span Ohio Administrative Code sections 3701-17-01 to 3701-17-26 and are part of The Ohio Department of Health’s (ODH) five-year rule review required under Ohio Revised Code Section 119.04. Susan Wallace will also cover recent discussions with the DeWine Administration on the assisted living waiver, and how to ensure that gains made in the recent budget are sustained over time. Finally, LeadingAge Ohio hospice experts will also be on the call to discuss the hospice HOPE tool - what it affects, and why it’s imperative to prepare your teams now.
