BELTSS Laws, Rules and Ethics

During this session, BELTSS staff provides an overview of laws and rules from the Ohio Revised and Ohio Administrative Codes (Chapter 4751) which govern the practice of nursing home administration. Recent regulatory changes will be reviewed as well as changes to the LNHA & HSE license renewal requirements and transition to the biennial license renewal processes which are underway. The top violations/issues and disciplinary actions Ohio nursing home administrators have faced recently will also be reviewed as well as the Healthcare Executive Code of Ethics.

Substitution and Cancellation Policy: Substitutions, in writing, are welcome at no additional cost. Cancellations received by two calendar weeks prior to event date will be fully refunded. Cancellations received between 7 and 13 days prior to the event date will be refunded minus a $10 processing fee. No refunds will be issued 6 or fewer days prior to the event date.
Learners have 10 days from live event to complete the course.

This activity meets the BELTSS Ethics class requirement
1.5 clock hours will be awarded upon successful completion.
Criteria for successful completion: Attendance at entire event and submission of completed evaluation form.
