In the second portion of this webinar Shane Durkee, Public Health Emergency Preparedness Specialist at IPRO and Stephanie DeWees, HSE, LPN, LNHA, BS, Quality & Regulatory Specialist - Long Term Care for LeadingAge Ohio, will provide an overview of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) regulations for emergency preparedness, specifically focusing on the requirements and best practices for conducting tabletop exercises as outlined in the State Operations Manual Appendix Z.
