Ohio's reimbursement landscape continues to evolve as reimbursement methodologies, quality programs, staffing expectations, and regulatory requirements change. Organizations that succeed understand that strong financial performance is driven by effective leadership, engaged teams, and systems that support continuous improvement. In accordance with ORC 3721.072(B) and OAC 173-60, this collaborative incorporates quality improvement strategies that support workforce development, staff engagement, workplace culture, and organizational performance.

This collaborative will help nursing home leaders understand the interconnected relationships between reimbursement, workforce performance, quality outcomes, clinical operations, and regulatory success. Through practical tools, facility-specific data, peer learning, and proven operational strategies, participants will learn how to identify opportunities, assess risk, strengthen organizational systems, and position their facilities for long-term success in an increasingly competitive environment.

Successful leaders focus on a small number of key metrics that provide a clear picture of organizational performance. This session will help participants build a practical dashboard and monthly review process to monitor reimbursement, staffing, quality outcomes, and survey risk. Participants will leave with tools and templates to support ongoing monitoring, accountability, and proactive decision-making. Participants will develop processes for monitoring organizational performance and using data to support proactive leadership decisions that strengthen employee engagement, workplace culture, and continuous quality improvement.
