    We will kick off the collaborative with an in-depth exploration of the LTCSP and the foundations of regulatory compliance. This session will guide participants through the critical tools and resources needed to prepare for and navigate surveys, emphasizing the importance of a culture of compliance and readiness

    February 27: Survey Strategy and Risk Evaluation 

    Learn how to use your facility specific Survey Strategy Worksheet to identify and address risks. This session will cover how to evaluate trends, understand the resident interview process, and incorporate these strategies into daily operations for sustained compliance

    March 27:  LTCSP Mandatory Task Observations 

    Dive into the LTCSP mandatory tasks, focusing on observation processes across departments. Learn how to conduct effective observations and use findings to enhance compliance and quality improvement

    April 24: LTCSP Record Review Process 

    Gain a comprehensive understanding of the LTCSP record review process. This session will help participants integrate record reviews into daily compliance activities to sustain survey readiness. Understand the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) role in mastering the LTCSP record review process to strengthen compliance. Learn how to involve clinical, dining, environmental services, and other teams in department reviews and resident record reviews, identifying compliance risks, and implementing sustainable practices. This session will emphasize collaboration and shared responsibility for compliance across all departments

    May 22:  Managing the Survey Process 

    Prepare your team to manage the survey process confidently. This session will provide best practices for planning, assigning roles, and utilizing real-time tools to ensure compliance during surveys

    June 26: Post-Survey Process and Sustainability 

    Wrap up the collaborative by mastering the post-survey process, including development of a Plan of Correction (POC). Learn how to incorporate POC processes into year-round compliance efforts and understand the implications of Civil Money Penalties (CMPs)
